Welcome to Mundo Remote 🙂. I'm so glad you've landed here, and I hope you find value in the content we share. For now, it's a one-person show (me, in this picture 😬). My name is Patricia (in Spanish) - but people call me Pat (in English) 👋🏼.
I was born and raised in Venezuela, studied university in Canada, and have lived in over 5 countries. I have an unwavering passion for travelling and discovering the world deeply (by deeply, I mean learning about the history, meeting locals, understanding the nuances of the cultures, the differences and similarities with my own, and approaching it with curiosity instead of judgment).
Over the past years, I've worked really hard to fit my job into my lifestyle. So I am now a remote worker and traveller (a.k.a a digital nomad, although I don't feel 💯 identified with the term- more on that later...).
In January 2023, I sold all my things - for the third time 🙈- to travel full-time. Six months later, I've gathered the courage to share my journey with all my learnings and inspire other people interested in this lifestyle to make it a reality while doing it consciously:
- Respecting the culture,
- Contributing to the local economy,
- And doing our best to leave a positive mark on the places and people we visit.
